**** 10 "NO Fire" Alternatives to Candles

Celebrate Fire Prevention! We want you to be safe through out the year. If you do not want to burn candles to make your house smell great, then we here are 10 great "NO Fire" alternatives to candles.

1. Wickless Candles - Wickless candles look just like regular candles, except you don't burn them. Place them in a jar warmer or on a candles plate warmer and the wax will melt. As the wax melts, the scent will be given off. Depending on the size, wickless candles will last for 80 to over 200 hours.

2. Electric Candles - Electric candles use a wax shell and a light to give the effect of a burning candle. The heat from the light helps give off the scent from the wax. You can renew the scent, but rubbing a cotton swab soaked in the scent oil around the inside of the wax shell.

3. Wax melts in an electric tart warmer - Wax melts, also known as tarts, are a great way to make your home smell great. Wax melts will begin to smell in about 5 minutes. They will last for 14-16 total hours.

4. Wax Dipped Animals - Wax dipped animals are a great way to make your house smell great, look good, and yet are safe around children, pets, and husbands. You get the effect of a candle without a flame. Plus, in 4-6 months, after they lose their scent, you can use a blow dryer to rejuvenate the scent. We have yet to be able to make a candle that will rejuvenate itself after burning.

5. Scented Bathroom Air Fresheners - Just like the wax dipped animals, our scented bathroom air fresheners are really a roll of toilet paper that has been dipped in scented wax. The heat from the shower or the bathroom heater will give off the scent.

6. Aroma Air Fresheners - Aroma air freshenders can be used in the car or, using a rubber suction cup, on a sunny window in your house. Aroma air fresheners are made with the same scent as we use in the candles, but are made of polymer beads. These beads will not melt in your car. They have been tested year round in the Phoenix and Las Vegas areas with no failures. The aroma ornament will last for 3-4 months. The scent is like having a candle in your car. Subtle, but long lasting.

7. Scented carpet sprinkles - Scented carpet sprinkles will make your carpets smell great. Made with body-safe scents, your children and pets can safely crawl on the floor immediately after use.

8. Potpourri - Potpourri is a great way of adding color to your decorations while making the room smell great. Potpourri can be used either by itself in a container, or in an electric potporri pot. The potpourri is placed in water in the pot and allowed to simmer.

9. Scented rosehips - Rosehips are often used for decoration. They can be placed around pillar candles or used alone ina container. To scent the rosehips, just put some scent in the bag of rosehips and let set overnight. By using scented rosehips with a 3 wick candle in a table centerpiece, you can get the effect of the fragrance without burning your centerpiece.

10. Sachets - Sachets are bags with ground up corn cobs soaked in scent oil. Sachets are great for closets, cars, unused rooms, and lockers. Best of all, they can be rescented. Just put a couple of drops of oil in the bag and let soak overnight.

As you can see, candles aren't the only way to make your house smell great. There are many "No Fire Alternatives" that work just as well and are available in most, if not all of our 80+ scents.
